Give and get a massage to feel like a billionaire woman
If there is one thing that billionaire women, millionaire women or just wealthy women in general know how to do, is to take care of themselves. They can afford to take care of themselves. But more importantly they understand that they must take care of themselves first, in order to be able to take care of others. For instance a stressed out person would not react calmly and think logically about a new problem that comes up. They would make bad decisions, probably lose money, the jobs of their employees, cause repercussions for the environment and so on. On the other hand, someone who is calm, cool and collected can take a deep breath, look at the problem from different angles and come up with an innovative or even a simple solution that does not cause devastating consequences. And if this example doesn’t convince you that it is important to take care of yourself first, then you should at least listen to that voice inside of you who reminds you how good it feels to relax.

Should Women Complain About Pay Inequality?

With many articles surfacing recently about the pay inequalities between men and women, I have been asking myself a few questions. Most of the people who are commenting on the article posted in Portfolio are saying that women should stop complaining about inequalities in salaries. They say that women have come a long way, and that it is time to focus on bigger issues in society. Now I have personally been on both sides of the fence, when it comes to the salary differences that are still being observed between men and women in the workforce. I do believe that how much money men and women earn should not be our main priority, when there are starving children, global warming and animal extinctions around the world. Yet at the same time, I can’t help but look at the numbers and realize that women are not equal in our society. This brings up the question of what equality means and what we should be striving for when it comes to an acceptable balance between the sexes. Continue reading »
