Gratitude Monday #5: Changes Edition

Gratitude Mondays

If I don’t make gratitude into a ritual, then it’s just going to get skipped over for something more “urgent”.

So I’ve created a tradition here at Billionaire Woman, where I share a few things I’m grateful for every Monday. And you get to join in the fun and share what you’re grateful for in the comments! (Only if it’s something you want to do, because we have enough “shoulds” already.)

This Monday I am Grateful For…

1. A New Hospital Room For My Grandfather

On Saturday my family and I went to visit my grandfather (who is paralized from a stroke) in his new hospital room. He was actually moved to a different hospital, which is closer to our home, so we will be able to visit him more often.

My grand father was in such a great mood, and everyone in the room was laughing and smiling. It just made my whole week-end to see him smile! We gave him a new haircut, and walked around the hospital with him to meet some of his old friends. It was very uplifting for everyone.

2. Face Offs!

Alex Fayle and I are contestants in the Plugin ID Personal Development Face-Off today. I am so honored to be in a face off against Alex Fayle, of Someday Syndrome, and I think our beliefs are along the same wavelengths. If you have a moment I would really love for you to go vote for me at the Face-Off and leave your comments too. :)

3. A New Computer

As I wrote in my post about FengShui and being careful what you ask for, I’m getting a new computer. It’s currently making its way across the country to my door. I’m so grateful for it already! I know the expanded screen space, extra RAM, and disk space are in alignment with my expanded thinking!

4. Juicing

I’ve been reading Jay Kordich’s bestselling book “The Power of Juicing” and I love it! I have been drinking fresh vegetable juices every day for the past week. I’m on a roll and my clear skin, bright eyes, and energetic outlook are a definite result of increasing my fresh juice intake. If you want to learn more about the powers of juicing, I highly recommend Jay’s books and programs.

5. A Sound Sleep Cycle

Most University students have probably experienced the all-nighters that go with the cramming sessions or assignment due dates. I’ve had my share of late nights, and after University my sleep cycle was further upset by visiting a country that has a 12 hour time difference for 4 months.

Right now I am really grateful for sleeping early and waking up early. I’m not talking about waking up at 5 or 6 am, but I am able to hold regular hours. When I first started working on my new site (Raw food switch) I would stay up really late, but now I’ve got my productivity under control and I’m so grateful!

What Are You Grateful For This Week?

Now it’s your chance to let us know what you’re grateful for this week. Nothing is too big or too small, you can be grateful for your great smile or your snoring cat!

  • Great list Nathalie. That's a really beautiful thing to read about your grandfather and congrats on the new PC! I hope it lives up to your expanding thinking ;)

    Cheers,
    Glen
  • Thanks so much Glen hosting the face-off, it was a blast! :) I hope you had fun running it too. And thanks, my computer is at the closest sorting facility - so I can't wait to get it. :)
  • Great post! I really enjoyed reading your Face Off. You had some great answers! I know I've probably said this before, but I really do love the idea of gratitude Mondays. It's great to think about what you're grateful for. :) I'm going to have to give my own gratitude some thought...
  • Aww thank you so much Positively Present! You're a super supportive person and I love how the gratitude mondays are spreading the thankfulness. :) Have an awesome day and see you soon!
  • Its great that you put a smile on your Grandfathers face.
Keep up with the juicing, I started drinking more juice late last year and I just love it. My favourite juice book is The Juice Master by Jason Vale, it has some great inspirational recipes in it
  • Absolutely Garry! Thanks for the book recommendation. I'm all about soaking in the knowledge. I've been making up recipes based on what veggies I have on hand, and they always turn out delicious. :)
  • Glad to hear your grandfather is doing well!
